Abstract
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: Image is a picture created through the artistic use of words. From the sixth century onwards, some poets based their poetic imagery on the use of scientific vocabulary and terms from various sciences. Saadi is one of these poets who used language, vocabulary, terms, and legal ideas to create beauty and artistic imagery in his ghazals. This article aims to determine the aesthetic effect of legal vocabulary and terms and its techniques in the illustration of Saadi"s lyric poems.
METHODOLOGY: In this study, all of Saadi"s lyric poems have been studied using a descriptive-analytical method, relying on library resources, and analyzing the aesthetics of legal vocabulary and terms in the illustration of Saadi"s lyric poems.
FINDINGS: Show that Saadi"s skill in choosing and using words and legal terms and the type of arrangement and combination of these words parallels the simplicity and fluency, structural and semantic coherence of his poetry by using proportions and juxtaposition of opposite words, synonyms or group and prominence,Words through the contrast of words and the tone of letters, honesty in speech, the selection and artistic use of words and legal terms in the axis of the poem"s companionship, and finally the defamiliarization and delay in legal words have caused literary taste, artistic aesthetics and image creation in his sonnets.
CONCLUSION: Legal vocabulary, terms, and ideas have caused the imagery of Saadi"s poetry.
