Using the power of literature to explain scientific issues is an effective way to facilitate learning. When this approach is combined with a scientific theory, its impact becomes even greater. Therefore, considering the topic of the study, the authors have attempted to align the text of the Shahnameh with Daniel Goleman’s theory, whose name is closely associated with emotional intelligence (EQ).He was the first to introduce this significant concept in human life for dealing with everyday issues and problems in the early 1990s. According to Goleman, the components of emotional intelligence include self-awareness, self-regulation, self-motivation, empathy, and social skills. METHODOLOGY: The present study was conducted using documentary and library research methods. FINDINGS: The concept of emotional intelligence was initially conceptualized by Salovey and Mayer; subsequently, Daniel Goleman played a pivotal role in expanding and popularizing this psychological construct. According to Goleman, the constituent components of emotional intelligence encompass self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills. CONCLUSION: This study shows that the Shahnameh is more than just a literary and historical text; it is a rich source for understanding human and social behaviors. The protagonists’ emotional and political successes were determined by their mastery of social skills, such as leadership, conflict management, and effective verbal and non-verbal communication. Specifically, the ability to manage conflicts through self-regulation and empathy was crucial for resolving crises and building lasting cooperation. In contrast, many characters faced failures due to a lack of self-awareness and emotional intelligence. In conclusion, the Shahnameh suggests that lasting influence is built not on sheer power, but on emotional engagement and the use of emotions to achieve understanding and peace.زمینه و هدف: آثار ادبی علاوه بر اینکه آیینه تمام نمای زندگی مردم یک جامعه است با علوم انسانی ارتباطی مستقیم دارد؛یکی از این علوم، روانشناسی است. استفاده از قدرت ادبیات برای توضیح مسانل علمی راه موثری برای یادگیری آسان است؛ حال اگر بایک نظریه علمی هم همراه شود این تأثیر بیشتر میشود؛ به همین دلیل مؤلفان با توجه به موضوع جستار، سعی در تطبیق متن شاهنامه با نظریه دنیل گلمن نموده اند که هوش هیجانی (EQ) با نام او گره خورده است. روش مطالعه: پژوهش پیشرو، به دو شیوه اسنادی و کتابخانه ای صورت درفته است. یافته ها: مفهوم هوش‌هیجانی نخستین بار توسط سالووی .مایر مطرح شد و دانیل گلمن با گسترش وترویج ان نقش مهمی در شناساندن این سازه روان‌شناختی ایفا کرد. مؤلّفه های هوش هیجانی ازنظر گلمن، خودآگاهی،خودکنترلی، خود انگیزی، همدلی و مهارت‌های اجتماعی‌است. نتیجه گیری: یافته های پژوهش نشان می‌دهد که شاهنامه، فراتر از یک اثر ادبی و تاریخی، منبعی غنی برای شناخت و درک رفتارهای اجتماعی و انسانی است. تسلط بر مهارت‌های اجتماعی، از طریق نفوذ اجتماعی،رهبری،مدیریت تعارض ارتباط مؤثر کلامی که ابزاری برای تنظیم هیجانات و میانجی‌گری است و درک اهمیت ارتباطات غیرکلامی، عاملی تعیین‌کننده در موفقیت‌های عاطفی و حکومتی قهرمانان بوده است. مهارت در مدیریت تعارضات، بازتابی مستقیم از خودتنظیمی هیجانی و درک فضای احساسی طرف مقابل است، در مهار بحران‌ها و بنا نهادن همکاری‌های پایدار (مانند عملکرد شخصیت‌های خردمند) نقشی حیاتی ایفا نموده است؛ در مقابل، بسیاری از شکست‌ای ارتباطی شخصیت‌ها را در پرتو ضعف در خودآگاهی و آگاهی هیجانی تفسیر کرد. در نهایت، شاهنامه تصویری ارائه می‌دهد که نفوذ پایدار، نه بر پایه قدرت صرف، بلکه بر تعهد هیجانی و هدایت احساسات به سمت تفاهم و صلح استوار است.هوش هیجانی, دانیل گلمن, شاهنامه, فردوسی, روابط مؤثرEmotional Intelligence, Daniel Goleman, Shahnameh, Ferdowsi, Effective Relationshipshttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/2035.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/2035.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/article/بازتاب هوش هیجانی در شاهنامه فردوسی بر اساس نظریه گلمن با محوریت مؤلفه مهارتهای اجتماعیhttps://bahareadab.com/en/article/Reflection of Emotional Intelligence in Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh Based on Goleman’s Theory with Emphasis on the Component of Social Skills
