Building on this, the present study seeks to analyze and compare the process of the formation of the feeling of inferiority and the compensation mechanisms of the heroes of Samnameh and Bahmannameh. METHODOLOGY: This study was conducted using a descriptive-analytical approach based on qualitative content analysis. The components of Adler’s theory feeling of inferiority, striving for superiority, and social interest were operationalized in the form of specific textual indicators, and the actions and speech of the heroes of the two poems, as the unit of analysis, were examined and compared with one another based on these indicators. FINDINGS: The origin of the feeling of inferiority in Bahman is external and reputation-based in nature, and his compensation is mainly reactive, vengeful, and dominance-seeking. The feeling of deficiency in Sam arises mostly from comparison with his lineage and from emotional frustration, and his compensation takes on an affirmative and individual dimension. The examination of the secondary heroes also shows that the feeling of inferiority does not lead to a single outcome, but rather, depending on each character’s disposition, encompasses a range from self-sacrifice and resourcefulness to revenge and self-aggrandizement. CONCLUSION: The fundamental distinction between the two poems lies not in the existence of the feeling of inferiority, but in the quality and direction of its compensation. Bahmannameh is built upon a reactive compensation model, while Samnameh is built upon an affirmative compensation model.هدف: روانشناسی فردی آلفرد آدلر، با تکیه بر دو مفهوم «احساس حقارت» و «سازوکار جبران»، چارچوبی کارآمد برای واکاوی انگیزه های نهفته در کنش پهلوانان حماسی فراهم می‌آورد. پژوهش حاضر میکوشد بر این اساس، فرآیند شکل‌گیری احساس حقارت و سازوکارهای جبرانی پهلوانان سامنامه و بهمن‎نامه را تحلیل و مقایسه کند. روش: این پژوهش با رویکردی توصیفی‌تحلیلی و بر پایه تحلیل محتوای کیفی انجام شده است. مؤلفه های نظریه آدلر احساس حقارت، تلاش برای برتری و علاقه اجتماعی در قالب نشانگرهای متنی معین عملیاتی شدند و کنش‌ها و گفتارهای پهلوانان دو منظومه، به مثابه واحد تحلیل، بر اساس این نشانگرها بررسی و با یکدیگر مقایسه شدند. یافته ها: خاستگاه احساس حقارت در بهمن ماهیتی بیرونی و حیثیتی دارد و جبران او عمدتاً واکنشی، انتقام‌جویانه و سلطه طلبانه است؛ در مقابل، احساس کمبود در سام بیشتر از قیاس با تبار و ناکامی عاطفی برمی‌خیزد و جبران او سویه ای اثباتی و فردی می یابد. بررسی پهلوانان فرعی نیز نشان میدهد که احساس حقارت به نتیجه ای یگانه نمی‌انجامد، بلکه بسته به منش شخصیت، طیفی از فداکاری و تدبیر تا انتقام و خودبزرگ‌بینی را در برمیگیرد. نتیجه گیری: تمایز بنیادین دو منظومه نه در وجود احساس حقارت، که در کیفیت و جهت‌گیری جبران آن نهفته است: بهمن‎نامه بر الگوی جبران واکنشی و سامنامه بر الگوی جبران اثباتی استوار است.احساس حقارت, سازوکار جبران, علاقه اجتماعی, روانشناسی فردی آدلر, سامنامه, بهمن‎نامهfeeling of inferiority, compensation mechanism, social interest, Adler’s individual psychology, Samnameh, Bahmannameh.https://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/2034.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/2034.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/article/احساس حقارت و سازوکار جبران در پهلوانان سامنامه و بهمن‎نامه از منظر آدلرhttps://bahareadab.com/en/article/Feeling of Inferiority and Compensation Mechanism in the Heroes of Samnameh and Bahmannameh from Adler’s Perspective
